The Origin of Jove
In Roman mythology, Jove was god of the skies, a King of the gods with a tireless passion for overseeing human activity on earth. It was Jove’s reputation for omniscience and honest, benign practice that led to his name being sworn by in Court- giving us the well-known phrase “By Jove”. ‘Birds of Jove’ are a group of eagles renowned for their broad wings, keen vision and strong soaring flight.
